When and Where is Quest?
Quest will be held June 24-27 at Badger Creek campground located in Tetonia, Idaho. This campsite is managed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Full-time senior missionary couples host this camp.
Who May Attend Quest?
Youth turning 14 in 2026 through graduating seniors (Class of 2026) may attend.
Can youth outside of the Three Forks Stake boundary attend?
This activity is being put together for the Three Forks Stake. While we are not advertising for out of stake youth or non-members, the stake will give consideration to youth who may be visiting family during the time of Quest. Please keep in mind that all youth attending should have a basic knowledge of the Book of Mormon and should be willing to obey the Code of Conduct.
Can Adults Attend?
Adults may attend if they have a specific responsibility at the event. All ward youth leaders may attend and will receive individual assignments as designated.
When does registration begin?
Registration begins on January 25th. Online registration AND the church's medical release form MUST be completed and turned in by April 1st. Please complete the online registration and turn in your medical release form to your ward leaders.
What is the cost to attend Quest?
Each youth is responsible for 75$. Youth are encouraged to work to raise enough funds to cover the cost. If the cost causes a financial burden, families are encouraged to communicate with their Bishop/Branch President. The Stake will be coordinating a fundraiser on a future date TBD to cover all remaining costs of Quest.
How will I get to Quest?
Youth will need to be dropped off at the Three Forks Stake Center at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24th. The ward and branches will provide transportation to and from Badger Creek. We plan to tentatively return to the Stake Center on Saturday, June 27th at 3:00 p.m.
What is the dress code?
All participants - youth and adults, campers and visitors - should dress in Book of Mormon-style clothing at all times during quest. Each person attending will need at least two outfits. Clothing should be simple and inexpensive, and modest. Be resourceful. Where possible use items you already have. Parents and youth are responsible for creating their own costumes.
Specific clothing information, guidelines, patterns, and ideas can be found on the homepage by clicking the clothing icon.
What should I bring to Quest?
Refer to packing list
All electronics should stay home, safe and sound. Cell phone use will not be allowed. We are asking for parents to help us keep cell phones at home. This is a special week when our youth can be “unplugged” and leave the forces of the world behind. We know this time to quiet things down and not be bombarded with social media, messaging apps, gaming, and all the other interruptions helps invite the spirit into our camp and allows our youth to have stronger spiritual experiences throughout the week. Thank you for your help with this!
How can I prepare for Quest?
Each ward or branch will be assigned reenactments from the Book of Mormon to perform while at Quest. We encourage all youth attending to participate in preparing, practicing, and performing in these reenactments. Join in the fun of bringing the Book of Mormon to life!
Additionally, we encourage you to prepare spiritually by reading the Book of Mormon and studying the stories found within its pages over the next several months leading up to Quest. President Ezra Taft Benson said, “There is a power in the Book of Mormon which will begin to flow into your lives the moment you begin a serious study of the book. You will find greater power to resist temptation. You will find the power to avoid deception. You will find the power to stay on the straight and narrow path.” We hope your experience at Quest will help you find this power, too.
